Black Party
Objective: To reach unregistered Black voters, facilitate their registration, and provide comprehensive, easy-to-understand political education to empower and unify the community in addressing predominant issues.
Program Phases:
Research & Planning:
Identify Target Areas: Focus on neighborhoods with high populations of unregistered Black voters.
Build Partnerships: Collaborate with local organizations, churches, community centers, and schools.
Develop Educational Materials: Create simple, engaging materials explaining voter registration, the importance of voting, and key political issues.
Community Outreach:
Community Ambassadors: Recruit and train local volunteers to act as community ambassadors.
Registration Drives: Organize voter registration drives at community events, churches, and public spaces.
Door-to-Door Campaigns: Conduct door-to-door campaigns to reach unregistered voters directly.
Political Education:
Workshops & Seminars: Hold regular workshops and seminars in accessible community locations.
Online Resources: Develop a user-friendly website with educational videos, infographics, and FAQs.
Social Media Campaigns: Utilize social media to spread awareness and share educational content.
Empowerment & Advocacy:
Community Forums: Host forums where community members can discuss issues and propose solutions.
Candidate Meet & Greets: Organize events where voters can meet local candidates and ask questions.
Issue-Based Advocacy: Focus on key issues affecting the Black community, such as criminal justice reform, economic equity, healthcare access, and education.
Monitoring & Evaluation:
Track Registration Rates: Monitor the number of new voter registrations in target areas.
Feedback Mechanisms: Collect feedback from participants to continuously improve the program.
Impact Assessment: Evaluate the program's impact on voter turnout and community engagement.
